Docket No. 24-11-RM Implementation of a Renewable Energy Standard The Public Utilities Commission (PUC) gives notice of proposed rulemaking proceeding to amend rules entitled "Implementation of a Renewable Energy Standard 810-RICR-40-05-2". The proposed amendments reflect the statutory changes enacted on June 27, 2022 (2022 P.L. Ch. 218). The proposed amendment changes the annual percentages of renewable energy required to achieve a 100% renewable energy standard by 2033. The Proposed Rules were filed with the Secretary of State using the Rhode Island Code of Regulations (RICR) Filing Application. Also includes a Public Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Public comments will be accepted in person on the day of the hearing on April 11 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the PUC's office.
