The Public Utilities Commission (PUC) hereby gives of Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and Public Hearing to adopt new rules entitled "Rules and Regulations Governing the Termination of Residential Electric and Natural Gas Service". The proposed rules and regulations reflect a comprehensive rewrite of the currently effective regulations entitled "Rules and Regulations Governing the Termination of Residential Electric, Gas and Water Utility Service” which became effective on October 19, 2008. Accordingly, the PUC plans to repeal the existing rules and regulations through this rulemaking process.
