The PUC hereby gives notice that it has initiated this docket to promulgate regulations. The PUC proposes to amend the existing Rules of Practice and Procedure. The existing two Parts of the Rules of Practice will be separated and proposed into two standalone rules to be entitled: (1) Rules of Practice and Procedure, 810-RICR-00-001, and (2) Additional Requirements for Filings of General Rate Schedule Changes, 810-RICR-00-005. These regulations have been formatted into the Rhode Island Code of Regulations (RICR) Code Format.
- Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and Public Hearing to Amend the PUC's Rules of Practice Procedure. The public comment period ends November 10, 2018. A hearing will be held on October 30, 2018.
- Notice of Proposed Adoption of Regulations entitled "Additional Requirements for Filings of General Rate Schedule Changes" and Public Hearing. The public comment period ends November 10, 2018. A hearing will be held on October 30, 2018.
- At an Open Meeting, the PUC finalized and adopted new regulations. The regulations were filed with the Office of Secretary of State. Final Regulations:
