The Division of Public Utilities and Carrier hereby gives Notice of Rulemaking and Public Hearing to adopt new rules prescribing standards for water utilities and repeal existing rules and regulations. The hearing will be on September 26, 2007 @ 10 A.M. at Division's office, 89 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick, R.I.

The proposed rules will reflect a comprehensive rewrite of the currently effective Rules and Regulations Prescribing Standards for Water Utilities, effective date March 1, 1966. Below are links to proposed rules and currently effective rules.
