Division Rulemaking 815-RICR-40-00-01 Standards for Water Utilities- Proposed Amendment D-24-17

This is not a policy change as such, but a correction of a typographical error to refence the correct section that discusses a 3-year limitation for regulated water utilities to charge customers for unbilled usage for slow meters or non-registering (electronically read) meters. The three-year limitation exists in an earlier section of the regulation. The proposed correction simply points the reader to this correct section. Without this correction, the reference is to a non-existent section. 
The Division seeks to correct a typographical reference error in 1.5(E)(2) (b) and 1.5(E)(2)(c)(1): 

There were no comments received on the proposed amendment . The revised rule is currently effective.
