Rhode Island Energy filed on November 26, 2025, an application to implement an increase in electric and gas base distribution rates to recover the costs incurred to operate the electric and gas distribution systems on a safe and reliable basis for customers. The Company has proposed a 2-year rate plan with two proposed increases. The Company is requesting a base distribution rate increase of approximately $65.9 million for the electric system and approximately $114.7 million for the gas system in the first year. For the second year of the proposed rate plan, the Company is requesting an increase of approximately $17.6 million for the electric system and approximately $31.8 million for the gas system.
